| About the site 1. Can I place my house for auction with propertyauctionaction.co.uk? Sorry no, propertyauctionaction.co.uk is not an auction house and does not hold property auctions but we are the Number 1 Premier free portal for accessing the vast majority of the UK's property auction houses. 2. What services are provided by propertyauctionaction.co.uk? This website provides a wealth of information on UK Property Auctions. The site displays information on the majority of UK property auction houses including their next auction date, what region they specialise in and links to the auction house website. The site also shows contact information listing addresses and telephone numbers in the auctioneer directory. 3. How often is the site updated? The next auction dates are updated once a week at the end of the week. The rest of the site is subject to ongoing maintenance on a continual basis. News items for instance are fed from the PropertyWeek.com website on regular daily intervals. 4. Where do you get your information from? We update our information directly from the auction houses themselves. The news feeds come from PropertyWeek.com. 5. How many auction houses are there listed on the site? There are around two hundred and forty auction houses listed on the site at this time. 6. What sort of auctions do you list? We list information that is relevant to property and land auctions only. 7. How can I request updates or new features for propertyauctionaction.co.uk? We have just launched our new forum where you can make suggestions, swap stories with other people and generally ask questions about anything to do with property. 8. Do you distinguish between commercial and residential property auctions? Commercial and Residential property auction houses are selectable by pressing the appropriate radio button at the top of the table listing the auction houses on the home page. Click all to return back to listing all the auctions regardless of type. About Auctions 1. What do I need to do to attend an auction? Check out our Guide to buying property at auction. 2. Can I obtain auction brochures before the event? Click on the link of your chosen auction house from the list on the homepage. Once on the auction house website navigate to the page displaying the lots for the next auction. Some auction houses have the auction brochure or catalogue as a link to a downloadable Adobe PDF document for which you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click here to download. Alternatively most auction houses will send you a hardcopy of the auction catalogue in the post if you supply your name and address. You may be able to apply online or ring the auction house direct to request a copy. There may be a charge for obtaining a hardcopy of the auction catalogue. 3. Who do I contact to view one of the auction properties? The auction catalogue available from the auction house will provide all the information about viewing the property. This may be a scheduled viewing time facilitated by a third party such as a local estate agent. 4. What is the process to buy a property at auction? Check out our Guide to buying property at auction. 5. How do I contact you?
