Series synopsis: Estranged couple Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack put relationships aside to work on amazing property makeovers. Their business strategy is based on them purchasing homes from many sources such as foreclosure and short sales, non-distressed, bank-owned homes or Real estate owned (REOs) and then renovating the crest fallen properties back to amazing design and structural condition. Tarek takes more of a project managers role in the renovation where as Christina tends to take the design lead.
